Ms. Parker’s class would like to send a big THANK YOU to Kaylee Quinn’s grandmother, Mrs. Julie Dvorak, for their new winter hats/headbands! Mrs. Dvorak knitted each of these items by hand and gifted them to our class so that every student would have something to keep them warm during the winter. ❄️ These firsties were so excited that they had to put them on and pose for a picture! 💙👒#wearejtr #4theT #community

Students in Ms. Wilson’s class had so much fun this week working on a Google Slides project to present to their classmates. Each group got a different region in Georgia to research and present to the class. Way to go! 💙 #wearejtr #4theT

Leaping into the New Year! Mrs. Lever’s first graders have enjoyed learning about measurement using nonstandard units. Students had to estimate how far they could jump, and then they measured with frogs to check their estimations. The best part was writing on the floor with dry-erase markers to mark their distance. 💙 #wearejtr #4theT

Ticket sales for the Winter Sneaker Ball will begin on Monday, January 22, 2024! 👟💙😎 #wearejtr #4theT

Mrs. Coley's students used paper clips, unifix cubes, and colored blocks, which are non-standard units to measure their names during math. 💙 #4theT #wearejtr

It's time to order Read Across America t-shirts! We will offer two designs and three colors: heather red, heather navy, and azalea. Please look in your child's folder for the order form. Remember, if multiple children are ordering from one family, each child must submit an order form. Let's get excited to celebrate our love of reading! 📚😊💙 #readersareleaders #wearejtr #4theT
