Georgia Reads Day, held annually on September 22nd, is a statewide reading rally and celebration hosted by the Georgia Council on Literacy and Malcolm Mitchell, a former UGA football star and Valdosta native. The fire alarm was pulled this morning by a student. To ensure the safety of all students and staff, the school followed proper procedures and they have resumed normal operations. #4theT

Mrs. White’s 4th graders became young scientists today! After reading "The Science Behind Sight," they built their own pinhole cameras and discovered the awesome trick our eyes play—seeing everything upside down until our brain flips it right-side up! 👁️📷😲 💙 #wearejtr #4theT

Today, Mrs. Fraser's class joined forces with Mrs. Keeter's class in the STEAM Lab! They conducted an experiment to determine which type of soil retains the most water, helping them figure out the best soil for planting seeds.
