Congratulations to Norah Monfort and Benny Nguyen!
On Tuesday, 4-H hosted the County 4-H Cloverleaf Project Achievement Contest for 5th & 6th graders. Thirty-four students from Tift County brought their projects and competed! Norah won 1st Place in Sports-Individual, and Benny won 1st Place in Engineering and Mechanics.
Cloverleaf Project Achievement is a public speaking competition for 5th and 6th graders that challenges them to choose a topic of interest and present a 4-6-minute speech on the subject. This competition teaches 4-Hβers personal and professional research and public speaking skills. After each student completed, they could play games and meet 4-H members from across the county! We want to say a huge βthank youβ to all of our 5th-grade teachers who helped students from the classroom competition to the county competition! We encourage you to congratulate the students below on their successes this week and encourage them as they prepare for the District Contest in Perry, Georgia, in March!
At JTR, we are "Crazy about Reading!" #wearejtr #4theT #readacrossamerica
