Leaping into the New Year! Mrs. Lever’s first graders have enjoyed learning about measurement using nonstandard units. Students had to estimate how far they could jump, and then they measured with frogs to check their estimations. The best part was writing on the floor with dry-erase markers to mark their distance. 💙 #wearejtr #4theT

Ms. Parker’s class ended Unit 3 Math by creating 3D Christmas trees out of paper! Students created the trees using several 3D shapes, including pyramids (3 sizes for the tree), spheres (ornaments on the tree), and a cylinder (tree trunk)! 🎄💚♥ #wearejtr #4theT
