Engineers at work! Ms. Jacobs’ fourth graders have been studying hurricanes. Students are completing a STEM task to conclude this unit using what they have learned. Using an engineer design process, students create a house to withstand the strong winds of a hurricane using only the materials provided. Stay tuned to see students test their houses soon. 🌀 💙 #wearejtr #4theT

Pre-K had a "sporty" day! 💙 #wearejtr #4theT

JTR 3rd-grade students enjoyed story time and a craft with Ms. Grace from the Tifton-Tift County Public Library! They read fiction stories about bats, learned facts about bats, and made their own bat to take home. 📚🦇💙 #wearejtr #4theT

2nd-grade students in Ms. Jacobs’ class demonstrated and explored how bees pollinate and get nectar. Students searched their cups for nectar (M&M’s) and returned it to their hive. The Cheetos' powder served as pollen, then transferred to the paper towel. Students enjoy eating their pollen snacks and learning! 💙🐝 #wearejtr #4theT
