JTR families are invited to join us for our Fall Festival. It will be an exciting time with free hayrides, games, prizes, music, cake walk, campfire reading, inflatables, and a haunted hallway. There will also be a concession stand available with items to purchase. All proceeds go to the JTR Student Council and BETA club.

J.T. Reddick students share their favorite places to enjoy reading at home in honor of Georgia Reads Day.

Parents, did you know? Book Taco is an engaging new reading program that allows students to read books at their appropriate reading level and take quizzes to demonstrate their understanding. Your child can even complete tests at home, accessed through Class Link, as the program can read the questions and answers aloud for younger students. They are allowed to take tests on books from the JTR media center, the public library, or any books from their personal bookshelf! So, help your reader grow stronger one book at a time! 📖💙😍 We can't wait to feature and reward our students who meet the October Challenge! #wearejtr #4theT

Ms. McComas' students delved into the fascinating topic of the phases of the moon during their recent science lesson. To enhance their understanding, they creatively modeled each phase using Oreo cookies, carefully twisting apart the cookies to illustrate the varying appearances of the moon throughout its cycle. This hands-on activity not only made the learning experience enjoyable but also helped the students visualize and comprehend the concepts of the lunar phases more effectively! 💙🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘😎#wearejtr #4theT
