Today, Mrs. Fraser's class joined forces with Mrs. Keeter's class in the STEAM Lab! They conducted an experiment to determine which type of soil retains the most water, helping them figure out the best soil for planting seeds. Mrs. Onyeri’s 1st-grade GATE resource students have been learning all about animal needs, and they put their knowledge into action!

Our young scientists created bird feeders to provide food for local animals. Students were encouraged to keep an eye on their feeders at home and see if they could catch animals enjoying a snack in real time.

Hands-on learning + real-world observation = a wonderful way to connect science with nature! 💙🐦😀 #wearejtr #4theT

The Tifton-Tift County Public Library, in partnership with Tift County Schools, is proud to provide free PINES Library Access for Youth (PLAY) library cards to all students in grades Pre-K through 12.

There is nothing families need to do to participate—students are automatically issued a PLAY library card to support their academic success.

Returning students: Accounts have been automatically updated.

New students: You will receive an email notification once your child’s PLAY card has been issued.
